A nineteenth century, English copper preserve pan dating from c.1880. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it has the typical, English shape of brass handles to either side.
Condition: It has seen a lot of use and due to this the base is no longer flat. There is pitting to the base, and a little to the sides, which is also the result of use. One of the handles has been pushed in slightly.
