A nineteenth century, English copper preserve pan. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper, it is marked to the base with a letter ‘F’ and it dates from c.1860. It has very attractively shaped, cast brass handles with heart shaped terminals. It is in good condition but there is marking to the copper in the base of the piece and there is pitting to the copper on the exterior, all from use.
