A nineteenth century, English copper straining spoon. The bowl of the spoon is only half pierced and the handle is made from a combination of bronze and oak. There is a hole through the end of the wooden handle whereby you can thread a string in order to hang the piece. It dates from c.1870 and it is in very good condition.
