A 19th century, French copper, creme renversee pan and cover. Both the pan and the lid are stamped with a number ’14’ which relates to the diameter of the pot in centimetres. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper, has flat form handles to the sides and an acorn shaped, brass finial to the lid. It dates from c.1890. There is a tiny amount of marking to the rim of the lid but otherwise it is in very good condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter 14.2cm. Width 19cm. Height 11.5cm.
