A 19th century, French copper, deep sauté, or cutlet pan. This pan is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from.1890. The copper has a slightly planished finish but this is more noticeable on the interior than on the exterior. It is stamped with a a number ’22’ by the side of the handle. This relates to the internal diameter. The pan measures 22.2cm. diameter by 6.7cm. deep and overall, including the steel handle, it is 43.7cm. long. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
