A French copper pie plate with a large, brass ring handle for hanging. This is marked with “P I” to either side of a small flower shape. These would have been the initials of a previous owner. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. There is very slight marking to the copper, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of dish 28.6cm. Depth of dish 3cm.
