A good quality, 19th century, French copper stockpot. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It has the typical French form of brass handles to both sides of the pot and also to the lid. Both the lid and the pot are stamped with a number ’24’ and this relates to the diameter of the pot in centimetres. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
