A French copper, frying pan with steel handles. The side of this pan is marked with the initial 'H'. This would have been the mark of a previous owner. The pan dates from c.1860. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and the steel handle is quite primitive in style. It is in very good condition. There is just very slight scratching and marking to the copper on the base of the pan. This is from use. The interior has been re-tinned, in the traditional manner, so that the piece can be used. Size: Diameter of pan 30cm Depth of pan 4.5cm Overall length of pan and handle 49.7cm.
