French stockpot

A good quality, French copper stockpot and cover. Both the side of the stockpot and the lid are marked with the number '24'. This relates to the diameter of the pot. It has ornate brass handles to the sides, and also to the lid. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned, so that it can be used.
