A good quality, 19th century, English copper, deep sauté pan and cover. There are no manufacturers marks but both the pan and lid are engraved with “C 11”. The C would relate to a previous owner or house. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and dates from c.1860. There is pitting to the steel handle but other than that it is in excellent condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 23.6cm. Depth of pan 9cm. Total length of pan and handle 44.5cm.
