A good quality, 19th century, French copper stockpot. This is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. It has attractively shaped brass handles to the sides of the pot, and also to the lid, and these are attached with copper rivets. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. Ideal for making stocks or soups and it could also be taken straight from the stove to the table.
