Good Quality, Victorian Copper Kettle

Code: H20560

A good quality, Victorian copper kettle. This is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams. It dates from c.1870.  It has a mushroom shaped, copper finial, which is an integral part of the lid, and brass fittings to the handle.

It is in excellent condition. To the interior there is a section, to the base, where the copper is showing through the tinning. This could still be used, as there is no verdigris, but it must be kept clean. The remainder of the tinning is still in very good condition.
