A huge, English copper saute pan. This is marked, to the base, with “W & B” within a bell shape. This could have been used by Wright and Butler of Birmingham but I cannot find a reference to this specific mark. The pan is made from a heavy gauge of copper, has a typical English form of steel handle, and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. It is rare to find an antique saute pan of this size in such good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 36.2cm. Depth of pan 4.5cm. Overall length of pan and handle 68cm.
