Code: K22769
A good quality, 19th century, English copper saucepan and cover. The saucepan is marked “JONES BROS DOWN ST. W.” in a circle and it dates from c.1870. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it has castellated seams around the base and up the side. The steel handles, which have the typical, English, triangular form of fittings, are attached with copper rivets. There are some very tiny dents to the lid and there is also pitting to the handle, but the saucepan is in excellent condition and the interiors have been re-tinned so that they can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 18cm. Depth of pan 12.3cm. Overall length of pan and handle 34.5cm.
