A small, English copper, deep saute pan and cover. The side of the saucepan is stamped 'JONES BROS DOWN ST W.' and the piece dates from c.1880. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and both the pan and the lid have the typical shape of English, steel handles. The pan measures 13.6cm. diameter by 6.2cm. deep. Overall it is 26.5cm. long by 10cm. high by 14.2cm. across. There are a couple of tiny dents to the lid, consistent with use, but other than that it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
