A large, 19th century, French copper frying pan. This is stamped with a number ’30’ to one side of the handle and this relates to the size. The pan measures 31cm. diameter by 4.8cm. deep and the overall length, including the handle is 60cm. The handle is the typical French form and the pan is made from a heavy gauge of copper. It dates from c.1890. There is quite heavy pitting to the steel handle but other than that it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
