A good quality, 19th century, French copper shallow stockpot or casserole. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It has the typical French form of brass handles to both sides of the pot but there is a nice, copper, strap handle to the lid. It is in very good condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
