A small, French copper sugar bowl with a single steel handle. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. Sugar bowls usually have two handles and, although this would have originally have been made for caramelising sugar, because it only has the one handle it could also double as an egg whisking bowl. It is in excellent condition.
