An unusually small, English copper baking dish. This is Victorian, dating from c.1860. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams running around the base and up one side. The handles are the typical, English form of brass handle and the pan has a rolled rim. Although this may not be an exciting shaped piece of copper it is very interesting due to it’s small size. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Width 22.7cm. Depth 8.2cm. Total length including the handles 30.5cm.
