A small, oval, French copper casserole made by Dehillerin of Paris. This has the makers mark ‘E.DEHILLERIN 18 RUE COQUILLIERE PARIS’ stamped in the lid and it dates from c.1890. There is a slightly planished finish to the copper and the piece has the typical French shape of brass handles to either end and also to the lid. There is slight marking to the copper, from use, but other than this it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned, so that it can be used. The pan measures 26cm. long by 16.4cm. wide by 11.2cm deep. Overall, including the handles, it is 33.2cm. long by 13cm. high.
