A good quality, small, 19th century, English copper preserve pan. This has a workman’s mark to the base which is one of the marks used by a workman at Benhams, but there is no Benhams mark. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper, which has a slightly planished finish, and it dates from c.1880. It has the typical English form of brass handles to either side and a rolled rim. It is in excellent condition.
