Code: K23438
A small, nineteenth century copper saucepan and cover. This has no manufacturers marks but it is English and it dates from c.1870. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and has castellated seams around the base and up the sides. The steel handles are the typical English form, with triangular fittings, and the base is stamped with a number ‘1’. There is slight pitting, to the steel handles, but otherwise both the pan and cover are in very good condition and the interiors have been re-tinned so that it can be used.
