A small, French copper, circular casserole and cover. This is a particularly small example of its type and it is marked, on the lid, with a number ’20’ which relates to the size. The pan measures 20.2cm. diameter by 10.2cm. high. It has brass handles to either side, and also to the lid, and including these it is 28cm. wide by 12cm. high. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
