A good quality, small, 19th century, French copper preserve pan. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper, has a rolled rim, the typical form of brass handles to either side, and it dates from c.1880. There is slight marking to the copper, but this is from the manufacture, when the copper was rolled. The piece is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 30.4cm. Total width across the handles 37.4cm. Depth of pan 12.2cm. Total height including the handles 15.5cm.
