A small,19th century, French copper salmon kettle. This is a really good quality piece, being made from a very heavy gauge of copper, and with castellated seams. It has ornate brass handles to both ends of the pan, and also to the lid, and it is complete with drainer. The lid is marked with a number '50' and this relates to the internal length of the pan in centimetres. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. It is a very useful size as it is not too big for everyday use.
The pan measures 52cm long by 16.3cm wide and 10.6cm. deep. The overall dimensions, including the handles are 56cm long by 15.8cm high.
