A small, 19th century, French copper stockpot. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper, it has the typical French form of brass handles and it dates from c.1880. Both the stockpot and the cover are stamped with a number “22” which relates to the diameter of the pot in centimetres. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
