Small, French stockpot

A very small, French copper stockpot. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper, it has castellated seams around the base and up the side, and it dates from c.1870. It has the typical, ornate, French form of brass handles to both sides and also to the lid. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. The pan measures 18cm diameter by 18.7cm high and the overall dimensions, including the handles, are 27cm wide by 21cm. high.
