An unusual, two handled, deep copper sauté pan and cover. This is French and it dates from c.1890. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper, which has been spun, and the handles are also made from copper. Those on the sides of the pan are a simple, fairly primitive form and the lid has a flat, strap handle. This pan would be ideal for use on top of the stove and also for transferring into the oven due to its’ compact size. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is in very good, bright, usable condition.
