A large, and very heavy, circular copper casserole or shallow stockpot. This is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and the copper has a heavily planished finish. There are brass handles to the sides of the pot and also to the lid and these are attached by copper rivets. It is French and it dates from c.1920. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
