Engine turned basalt bowl

A Wedgwood, black basalt bowl with engine turned decoration. This is marked ‘WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND’ and it dates from c.1920. It also has an impressed number ’9’ which relates to the size as it is 9inch diameter. It is well potted and it is in excellent condition. It is decorated with bands of a vertical engine turned design around the lower section and a herringbone design, which is also engine turned, to the rim.
