A fine quality, Wedgwood, engine turned basalt bowl. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. For a piece of this period it is exceptional quality. It has a wide band of engine turned design to the body of the bowl above which is a sprig moulded banded of bows and drapes. It stands on a pedestal foot and is an imposing size.
It is in excellent condition.
