A Wedgwood, black basalt bowl. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1880. It is also impressed with the number ’24’ and this would have been a batch number. It is decorated, in relief, with four classical subjects, including the Three Graces and Pegasus, and these are set between anthemion. The reliefs are good quality and the bowl is in excellent condition.
