A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip spill vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. This is a very attractive vase, decorated with a delightful design which is known as the “Harebell and Acanthus” design. Above the lower band of harebells and acanthus are garlands of roses which hang from ram’s heads and above that is a border of classical scrolls and flowers. The reliefs are all very good quality, with good depth, and the piece is in excellent condition. The jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue.
