A miniature, Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip teapot and cover. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is also impressed with two individual letters, an ’S’ and a ’T’. It is finely decorated with classical subjects and there is a border of leaves to the cover. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip glaze is a rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
It is quite hard to find Wedgwood miniatures from this period.
