A small, Wedgwood, pale blue jasper dip cache pot and stand. Both the pot and the stand are marked “WEDGWOOD” and they are also impressed with the letters “DWT”. This is the date code for the year 1865. The pot is decorated with four different classical subjects beneath garlands of grapes and vines which hang from lion masks and the stand has a simple band of oak leaves and acorns. All of the reliefs are good quality and the shape of the pot is quite unusual. There is slight staining to the relief on the pot and there are also a couple of firing faults to the reliefs but other than that both the pot and stand are in good condition.
