Code: L24869
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip copy of the Portland Vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1820. There is also a small, impressed workman’s mark. Wedgwood produced copies of the Portland vase in many different colours and sizes ranging from miniatures to the full size, ten inch version. They are not very common in this small size. The reliefs are all super quality and the jasper dip is a very good, rich shade of blue. The vase is in excellent condition but there is staining too the base and neck. This does not affect the appearance of the vase.
Dimensions: Height 10.4cm. Diameter 7.8cm.
