A small pair of fine quality, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip vases. Each vase has the impressed marks 'WEDGWOOD ENGLAND' and a letter 'S'. They date from c.1900 and are very good examples from this period. The shape is quite unusual, with very fine, handles to each side of the trumpet shaped bodies. The top section of the vases are decorated with classical subjects between anthemion and the lower section has a foliate design. All of the reliefs are very fine and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. These vases are most unusual in this size.
