A tiny, eighteenth century, Wedgwood, double sided cameo. This type of cameo was made to be set into necklaces or bracelets and if the cameo rotated you would not see a blank side. Due to the nature of the piece there was nowhere for it to be marked but this is definitely a Wedgwood piece. It is jasper dip and it is decorated with classical figures to either side. It dates from c.1780 and it is in excellent condition.
