A pair of Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip candlesticks. These are marked “WEDGWOOD” and they date from c.1850. They are also impressed with a letter ‘V’. Each one is decorated with classical figures offering sacrifices. To the rim is a band of leaves and to the base is a band of scrolling flowers. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. They are both in excellent condition.
