A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip teapot and cover. This piece is marked ‘WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND’ and it dates from c.1920. It is also marked with a number ’24’, which would be a batch number, and an ‘X’. It is decorated, in relief, with a band of classical figure offering sacrifices. There are also various foliate borders around the handle, spout, and lid. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
