A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip, teapot and cover. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1880. It is also impressed with a number “24”, which would be a batch number, and a couple of small workman’s marks. It is decorated with a band of classical figures, trees and foliage. Around the lid, spout and handle are foliate borders. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. There are three tiny chips to the rim of the lid, which can be seen in one of the images, but other than this it is in good condition.
