A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip lidded pot from a dressing table set. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a large letter ‘Z’, which could be a workman’s mark, and “3 1/2” which relates to the size. The pot is decorated, in white relief, with three different classical subjects between anthemion. The rim of the lid is decorated with a band of laurel and berries and around the finial is a very fine classical relief. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
