A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, club shaped jug. This was known as the club shape due to the shaping of the rim and spout. This example is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1850. It is also impressed with a letter ’T’. It is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures offering sacrifices. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich, shade fo blue.
It is in excellent condition.
