A fabulous pair of Wedgwood, three colour jasper dip candlesticks. These both have impressed marks ‘WEDGWOOD’ and ‘ENGLAND’ and they date from c.1900. They are quite an unusual shape and they are very ornate. The white jasper is decorated with an engine turned design which is highlighted by the black dip colour. There are bands, and cartouches, of yellow dip with white relief decoration with further garlands of white relief on the black ground. The overall effect is quite stunning and they are very good quality. They are both in excellent condition. Each one measures 14.3cm. high by 9cm. diameter at the base and 3cm. diameter at the top.
