A small, and unusual shaped, Wedgwood green jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a large letter ‘F’ and the number ’48’ which would be a batch number. The body of the jug is a very unusual, squat form. The top section is decorated, in white relief, with two classical scenes which are divided by anthemion. Around the lower section is a band of oak leaves and acorns. The reliefs are all good quality and the piece is in excellent condition.
