A Wedgwood, black and white jasper dip trinket box. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1860. It is also impressed with a small letter ‘O’. It would have been made as part of a dressing table set. The lid is decorated with a classical scene surrounded by a border of oak leaves and acorns and each lobe of the box is decorated with a small, classical scene depicting cherubs and putti at play. Both the box and cover are in excellent condition.
