A Wedgwood, green jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a large letter ‘D’ and the number ’24’ which would be a batch number. The body of the jug is decorated, in white relief, with classical figures offering sacrifices and to the neck of the jug are garlands of flowers which hang from roundels. The reliefs are all good quality and the piece is in very good condition. There are some marks around the spout but these are from the manufacture, they are not damage.
