A Wedgwood, pale green, jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is decorated with a continuous band of classical maidens offering sacrifices, and to the rim is a border of grapes and vines. These are in white relief against the sage green background. Generally the jug is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, but there is a small piece of relief missing from the side of one of the figures. This can be seen in the first image.
