A set of four Wedgwood, green majolica glazed plates. Each plate is impressed ‘WEDGWOOD’ and there are also some individual impressed letters. Each one has a large ‘O’, then three have an ‘X’ and one has a ‘V’. They date from c.1870. Each plate is moulded with a cabbage leaf on a basketweave background. This is then covered, all over, with a green, majolica glaze. There is very slight rubbing to the glaze on the highpoint in the centre of the plates and there is a tiny glaze flake to the rim of one plate. Other than that they are in good condition.
