A fine quality, early 19th century Wedgwood drabware bowl with white relief. This bowl has an impressed mark 'WEDGWOOD' and it dates from c.1830. There are a couple of other small impressed marks including the letters 'RK' and two small 'o's. These would be workman's marks. It is finely potted, from a drab coloured stoneware, and it is decorated with acanthus leaves and harebells in white. There is very slight staining to the reliefs. This is actually from the manufacture. The piece is in excellent condition.
